New Federal Partner Training

  • Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Anti-Trafficking Housing Assistance Program – April 4, 2024 – 3:00 PM EDT: The Office of Victims of Crime (OVC), an office in the U.S. Department of Justic (DOJ), is sponsoring a webinar to provide potential applications details regarding the FY 2024 Anti-Trafficking Housing Assistance Program. This program aims to develop, expand, and/or fortify funded organizations to enable them to provide housing and related support services to victims of human trafficking. The deadline to apply is May 20, 2024, however, for grants.gov, the deadline to apply is May 6, 2024. This webinar will provide details for potential applicants. View the OVC solicitation.

  • CHUSA Application Deadline Extended to April 12, 2024: Applications are being accepted for Tier 1 and Tier 2 communities, which is reserved for existing or prior ConnectHomeUSA (CHUSA) communities. PIH Notice FR-6338-N-02 expands CHUSA eligibility to Continuum of Care (CoC) and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) grantees.   • White House Proclamation on Sexual Assault Awareness Month, 2024: In his statement, President Joseph R. Biden Jr. says, “Freedom from sexual assault is a basic human right. Yet tens of millions of Americans – our family and friends, colleagues, neighbors, and classmates – carry the trauma of sexual assault with them. National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month is an important time to speak out, stand with courageous survivors, and finally change the culture that has allowed sexual violence to exist for far too long.”
  • 2024 Sexual Assault Awareness Campaign Materials: The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSRVC) has created campaign materials for the theme of this years National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAM), “Building Connected Communities”.
  • VetoViolence Toolkit: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) toolkit contains tools, trainings, and prevention information available for providers to download.
  • Sexual Assault Capacity Building Centers (SCBCs): Funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of Family Violence Prevention and Services (OFVPS), the SCBCs provide training and technical assistance to states, territories, tribes, coalitions, culturally specific organizations, and LGTBQ+ organizations to help meet the needs of sexual assault survivors nationwide.
