On Thursday, October 17, 2024, there is a Capacity Building/Grant Writing Training in Marana, Arizona, (near Tucson). The purpose of the training is to strengthen organizational capacity by increasing knowledge of requirements and availability of government and other funding sources. Assess organizational strengths and determine appropriate funding sources based on the organization’s goals, objectives, and capabilities. Learn how to demonstrate to funders your organization can be trusted as well as manage funds successfully. Participants will also learn strategies and techniques in writing successful funding proposals and creating winning strategies to address community needs, and effectively manage the strategic planning process to bring needed changes to enhance the quality of life in communities you serve.
While this event is sponsored by HUD, it is not solely for HUD based grants and programs. This is a wholistic approach to applying for Federal grant funding.
