AARP The Purpose Prize

Deadline: May 1, 2026, 5:00 PM

Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be at least 50 years old and someone who founded a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)($) nonprofit or project sponsored by a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)($) nonprofit. They must also have an active role in the organization.

AARP is looking for people who have founded 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) non-profit organizations and who put their purpose into action to support AARP’s mission to empower people to choose how they live as they age. An applicant’s founded nonprofit Examples of organizational support include data and evaluation, governance and succession planning, fundraising strategy and prospectus development. Emergent Fund – Emergent Fund Grant

Deadline: April 23, 2026

Eligibility requirements: Organizations must have 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) tax status, or a fiscal sponsor in order to be eligible and to receive grants.

The Emergent Fund prioritizes rapid response grantees engaged in these activities: Multi-issue, multi-constituent alliances of social change groups led by and organized in communities of color. Groups mobilizing people for protest and resistance. Groups engaged in organizing and advocacy, including: funding for public programs and services, creation of policies that protect our communities or defense against policies that harm our communities. Groups that bring people of color together for cultural and mental liberation. Mary Kay Ash Foundation – Domestic Violence Shelter Grants

Deadline: April 30, 2026

Eligibility requirements: Must be operating a physical shelter, a 501(c)(3) organization, in operation longer than 5 years, primarily providing shelter to women who have experienced domestic violence, and at least one year removed from receiving a MKAF grant

To support emergency domestic violence shelters across the country that provide critical, life-saving services, emergency shelter, hope, and healing to women and children seeking safety from abusive situations.
