HHS Addiction and Recovery Act Grants

Deadline: June 8, 2026

The Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program was created by the Drug-Free Communities Act of 1997 (Public Law 105-20). Applications are being accepted for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) Community-based Coalition Enhancement Grants to Address Local Drug Crises Grants (CARA Local Drug Crises Grants) as an enhancement to current or formerly funded Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program recipients. The purpose of this program is to prevent and reduce the use of opioids and methamphetamines and the misuse of prescription drugs among youth ages 12-18 in communities throughout the United States. Arbor Rising

Deadline: June 9, 2026

In each of these projects, we work with grantees to co-develop customized tools, deliverables, and plans—nothing comes off the proverbial shelf. The work is geared toward strengthening grantee capacity in key areas such as strategy development, financial management, data analysis, stakeholder optimization. This capacity-strengthening work is central to the Arbor Rising value proposition, and organizations without a strong interest in this aspect of the grant should not apply. Trauma-Informed Substance Use Prevention Program Grant

Deadline: June 15, 2026

Approximately $4 million will be awarded to programs throughout Arizona to strengthen community-based primary prevention efforts that address the root causes of substance use before it starts. Spark Good Local Grants Guidelines

Deadline: May 1, 2026 – July 15, 2026 

Walmart believes that investing in local communities strengthens our business as well as the communities we serve. Local grants are designed to support local organizations that meet the unique needs of the communities where we operate, build pride among all associates, and deepen relationships with our customers and members. Whole Foods Market’s Store Giving

The Whole Foods Market Store Giving program is led by a network of our team members across the company who are empowered to address the needs within their local communities. The program aligns to Whole Foods Market’s higher purpose of nourishing people and the planet.
