The Pinal County Coalition to End Homelessness will be holding upcoming elections in October for the leadership of the Coalition. The leadership consists of a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson positions. These are the only two elected seats within the Coalition.

Candidates must be voting members of the Coalition. Which means an agency commitment form must be on file. If you are not a committed member agency and wish to be, please visit https://pcceh.com/members/

The leadership is responsible for overseeing and documenting meetings which include minutes and attendance. Officers will serve a term of (2) years and may be re-elected to (2) consecutive terms. The Chairperson will host and facilitate meetings and be a spokesperson for the PCCEH.  Vice Chairperson will preside over meetings if the Chairperson is not available.

Pinal County, which serves as the lead agency, offers administrative support to the Coalition. As the lead agency, Pinal County is responsible for reporting to the Arizona Department of Housing in accordance with the executed agreement. Therefore, Pinal County and the leadership work together to ensure all required activities are completed.

The leadership must represent the Coalition in the LCEH Leads meeting through the Arizona Department of Housing and may also be elected to serve on the Government Advisory Board of the BoSCoC and the BoSCoC HMIS Committee.

The following is an estimate of the time commitment for the positions:

  • Executive Committee meeting (monthly) – 1 hour X 12 = 12 hours
  • Coalition meeting (bi-monthly) – 2 hours X 6 = 12 hours
  • LCEH Leads meeting (quarterly) – 2 hours X 4 = 8 hours
  • Agenda and minutes preparation – 18 meetings X 1 hour = 18 hours
  • Total hours = 50 hours
