RE: FY2026 HUD Continuum of Care Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO)

Through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 2026 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition, the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH), as the Unified Funding Agency and Collaborative Applicant for the Arizona Balance of State Continuum of Care (AZBOSCOC), expects to conditionally allocate up to an estimated $8 million through the FY2026 local competition. This amount includes an estimated $6.9 million in potential renewal, transition or reallocation of existing grants, approximately $1 million for new/bonus project(s), and approximately $800,000 for bonus projects that are dedicated to serving survivors of domestic violence (DV). The final award amounts will be based upon HUD funding availability as well as AZBOSCOC performance in the HUD CoC national competition. Projects must serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the AZBOSCOC geographic region that includes the 13 counties of Apache, Cochise, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Mohave, Navajo, Pinal, Santa Cruz, Yavapai, and Yuma.

Eligible Applicants: Eligible applicants for new/bonus project funding, including the DV bonus funding, include non-profits (which include non-profit faith-based organizations), recognized Tribal Nations, and instrumentalities of state or local government, regardless of prior CoC funding.

Eligible renewal applicants are those current AZBOSCOC-funded programs with grant expiration dates in calendar year 2027. Eligible applicants must be registered in SAM.gov and not be barred from applying for or contracting for Federal funding.

All renewal and Bonus/New project applications are due by Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AZ MST and must be submitted through the ADOH Housing Solutions Portal.
