Pinal County has been awarded $67,000 from the Arizona Department of Housing to fund a position to provide outreach and services for persons experiencing homelessness and to be a contact for landlords. The contract will expire on June 30, 2025 and will not be renewed. The services can be performed by one partner or shared by multiple partners to fund the position or employ temporary staff. The goal is to team up with community partners to provide the following services: 

Outreach and Services:

  • Coordinate the PCCEH outreach committee and activities
  • Attend PCCEH Coalition meetings (bi-monthly)
  • Attend PCCEH Executive Committee meetings (monthly)
  • Attend Case Conferencing meetings (twice monthly)
  • Attend AJ and CG local coalition meetings
  • Accept referrals through HMIS into the PCCEH Outreach project and engage with clients to prepare them for housing
  • Provide clients with referrals to local resources
  • Maintain and share data regarding clients assisted and services performed

Landlord Liaison Services:

  • Continue engaging landlords and maintain the PCCEH Landlord database.
  • Serve as a point of contact for all PCCEH member agencies to assist with identifying available rental housing within Pinal County.
