The Arizona Department of Housing is announcing a State Housing Trust Funds Notice of Funding Availability requesting proposals from eligible non-profit organizations, experienced for-profit companies, and municipal government entities proposing the construction, renovation, expansion, or operations of emergency shelter facilities; the construction, renovation, expansion or operations of transitional housing facilities; or the construction or renovation of other types of shelter or housing serving individuals who have been determined to be Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI), or chronically resistant to treatment. All projects must serve populations with an Area Median Income (AMI) of 80% or lower.

- Transitional Housing (Second Priority)
- Housing for individuals that are SMI or chronically resistant to treatment (Third Priority)

The SFY2027 SHTF Housing Solutions NOFA is available to view on the ADOH Open Funding Opportunities web page. Please submit all applications via the State HTF Special Projects Portal. Interested applicants may view the Scoring Rubric for the SFY27 SHTF Housing Solutions NOFA in advance of the application deadline upon request.
